Re-posting: Team Ambassador

I have a few posts to put up as they have been saved under word documents and haven't been put up on the blog but have been discussed and been crucial with the team over the whole process.

Team Ambassador- I had volunteered to be our Team ambassador for this assignment. This involved communicating through email, discussing and sourcing materials and information with other facilitator teams to arrange and sort what my group would require for our project/ stall and making it all come together.

With this document it had a lot of involvement of sorting out of finer details needed for the stall, these are notes from collaborating and going to each group sorting the details and also after discussion with the rest of the group once I had laid down these options to them:

Facilitators:

In terms of all the little groups they one big team
They chip in $25 each for making of stalls etc. and paying for other general costs.

Tokens: Token system has been suggested as a form of currency: buy $5 worth of tokens- get 7 tokens, two of which will be voting tokens (best facilitator group, best maker group).

As a group you decided how much you feel your product/ service is worth using the token currency… we were thinking for our group between 1-3 tokens depending on size and style of the candle.

Only cash handling that will happen on they day is with the facilitator token exchange, this is the only place where money will play into action during the market. If you have leftover tokens you can go back and exchange it back for cash.10% goes back to the facilitators for their services.

Stall set-ups:

Tables: Tables/ levels will be sourced- we have to tell them what surfaces we want and the rest they will provide the overhead of the structure.

I put forward the request of a long table to put in front of our stall, and have also given them our stall measurements- I asked for one as long as possible, and also wooden. In terms of other surfaces we are still currently deciding as to whether we use extra shelving/ crates to store the candles in and the amount that we will display so we will source those ourselves I believe.
