Well today's market palace was a roaring success, every single one of our candle holder throughout all the variations of the designs were soldout. The day was an awesome experience and I believe that it was enjoyed by everyone involved. As the queues for our stall began to form I was very surprised with the demand for our product. I am very pleased with the great effort of the group and all individuals input. The works put in over the semester have surely proven to be well worth it, to have such a positive feedback from customers was an amazing feeling. Thanks to the team an all who purchased our ecoglo candles from the market palace today. Very pleased with the result,
Matt Curran member of group 53 Massey school of design 2014.

90 Second speech for market palace
It has been our prime focus to try and introduce products which can reduce the unnecessary garbage and waste created by us where ever possible. We wanted to create a product that was eco friendly but very appealing to our customers. We wanted to reuse wastage to help save the environment we have 5 different elements that we used including concrete, clay, wood/metal and glass. All the elements we have used are beneficial to the environment especially the glass jars. We are adding a rustic authentic twist to these reusable items and turning them into candle holders. Ecoglo is our environmentally friendly, fun and rustic product. The experience we want to give to our customers is to show them they can help the environment in any little way possible. We will provide top service to our customers at the market palace and answer any questions about any of the elements. We have made tags which include our logo for the rustic candle holders to add more value to our product.

Concrete holders- Finals for market palace
These are my final concrete candle holders. I am very happy with them they are all smooth and look very rustic exactly what i wanted and how i wanted them to turn out. I took images of how i peeled the paper off the concrete just with scissors and a knife. They are rough looking on the top and quite smooth on the sides. They can really go anywhere the customer wants them to go. They look really good outside they are very garden like and very rustic they also work well in the bathroom. I have about 20 altogether for the market apace. These concrete holders really match our theme and name Ecoglo. I came up with the name Ecoglo as i think its very rustic and simple exactly what we want. We are a eco friendly brand is well. I hope lots of people will want to buy these as i know i would they are very eco friendly and so rustic looking.

Development of Concrete candle holders
Development of the concrete candle holders- Images showing my process on creating them. I used paper cups and other round shape of a paper cup to have a little bit of a variety. I tried to make different levels for the shapes some small and some quite tall. I used cement sand and water mixed it all together to create the concrete it took about 3 days to set then i broke the holder out of the paper cup.

Rustic Approach
This was just some experimentation I did to generate the mood/appearance of our stall. The idea would be for it to all be wooden and have that 'rustic' feel we have been trying to recreate through all of our separate tealight holders. We plan to have a banner that states our stalls name 'ecoglo' which will be painted on a piece of calico, again reiterating the rustic approach.
On the drawing on the right you can see that we are planning on using fairy lights or some sort of little lights to emphasise the idea of glowing. We hope that this will not retract from our rustic approach.
